Street Evangelism Drama Team

Mission: Taking the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ onto the streets of Seattle. We will be learning “The Champion” and other evangelism skits to perform at various locations throughout Seattle.   Following Jesus’ example of using parables/stories to get His message across, The God Squad uses drama to tell the stories and to gather the crowds. There will be a “Prayer Station” clearly marked and off to the side during the entire drama for anyone who wants prayer.  Lunch bags of food will be available to hand out to any homeless that need it.  Following the drama performances, an adult will give the Salvation Message and alter call. 

Street Locations:  This list is of possible locations, this list is not definite at this point, ultimately it will be where God leads us to go, but Street Evangelism Locations may include but not limited to: Westlake Center, Seattle Center, nursing homes, juvenile detention centers, parks, in front of government buildings and business districts, shopping centers, ect…

Practice Times:  FRIDAYS AFTER SCHOOL 3:20-4:30pm. In sanctuary. (no running in sanctuary while waiting, must remain seated)

Fee:  NO CHARGE. This is a ministry.  Love gifts & donations are welcome.

Costume fees: We will not have elaborate costumes. For street ministry we will keep it very simple black & white sweat shirts & sweat pants outfits.

Evangelism Dates: unknown at this time, however our goal is to go on the streets at least once/month on a Saturday

Who makes up The God Squad? The God Squad is looking for a few good men & women & youth dedicated to taking the message of Jesus on the streets!:

-           Hope Kerkof, instructor

-           Students 5^th-9^th grade with STRONG COMMITMENT to practice and to give of their time on evangelism dates to show up

-           Parent volunteers needed to help on evangelism dates with the following roles: safety gatekeepers, intercession prayer & prayer station attendants, alter call teams, evangelists, drama coordination managers
