Shorewood Christian School

Dear Prospective SCS Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to inquire about Shorewood Christian School. Since our inception in 1979, God has continued to be faithful to grow and bless what He has started. Beginning with an enrollment of about 30, our current enrollment now is around 200 students.

Because "Christian Education" is really God's idea and plan for our children, it follows that Shorewood Christian School is really HIS school, and we the staff are the stewards commissioned to take great care of what He has entrusted to us. 

With this thought in mind, the staff of Shorewood Christian School is deeply dedicated to passing on a godly heritage to the next generation.  In order for this to be done, we submit that students must:

• Embrace the Gospel message with their whole heart and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone.
• Begin to act on their faith and develop godly character as they seek to become more like Jesus everyday.
• Be prepared intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically to take the Gospel message to the ends of the earth. To do this will require much study and hard work, but God requires no less as Scripture exhorts, "Whatever you do, do it with all your might to the glory of God the Father."
